Hello all. I just want to say Happy New Year! I hope you all are safe and sound for the New Year.
I wish you all best of everything for the New Year. My crafty new years resolution is to donate more to charity, and to try to be publish again. That means i even have to submit something LOL.
I have two cards to show ya. First is a simple card that takes things from paper and from a stash.
The second is using a embossing folder in reverse and highlighting it with a white gel pen.
I have been on a kick with the Kraft paper lately. I love the simple look of it. I got a gypsy for x-mas so i am planning alot of cricut based cards in the future.
I also got Peachy Keen stamps for Christmas. I got some good ones, so using them is the the future too.
I can't wait to show you some new cards in the New Year.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks for hanging out with me.

Peachy keen challenge
Hello all. Long time no hear. I have been busy with Thanksgiving and shopping for Christmas gifts.
I got some good deals. I even went shopping on Black Friday.
I was up at 5 a.m. I got some good deals then took myself to breakfast.
I decided to do a Peachy Keen Challenge. Number 42. You had to emboss it. dry embossing or wet.
I even could use a Peachy stamp since i just got my order from them.
I had the music embossing folder from Tim Holtz. which i put tumbled glass distress ink on to bring out the embossing. I layered some Dcwv paper from the winter stack. I stamped this cute snowman that i got free with my order. Its a super cute image. i will be using it alot in the future. I colored her with copics and added glitter with my sakura glitter pen. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper- winter punnies.
I hope you all enjoy. I am going to be on alot more so stay tuned.
Thanks for hanging out with me.

Throwback Thursday challenge Entry & tip Tuesday
Hello to another Tuesday. Its Thanksgiving week. I have alot to be thankful for.
Getting diagnosed with RA I am glad that i found out that i had it early. We can treat it and hopefully be pain free. Wonderful family, good friends and great hobbies.
I did a card for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge. It was a old school challenge. It did not use a cricut.
We had to make it a thank you card.
Paper is by Paper company, My Minds Eye and DCWV. Bling by Recollections.
Stamped image by Stampendous, sentiment by Wordsworth. rub-ons from my stash. Colored image with crayola markers. Distress ink is by Tim Holtz.
Tip for today.
When doing cards, make sure to supply easy supplies, Like Stickers, rub-ons and the like.
You never know when you can make a quick card.
Example:

Happy Hello & tip Tuesday
Hello there. Here it is another Tuesday. It seems that the days are flying away.
I still have my cold, but not letting it get me down. I found some mojo so things are getting done.
I did this card at work. I had these snowman stamps already, all i had to do is color the images.
All paper is by DCWV. This stack is called Christmas Stack. I love the papers in it. So good for holiday cards. The snowman are a stamp from Stampin Up . I embossed paper with a Tim Holtz sheet music embossing folder. I love it. so useful.
It did a challenge for the clean and simple challenge at Splitcoast. only thing is that i didn't do any stamping on it. I didn't have the right stamp at work to finish it. I used a Martha Stewart French Scrolls punch on the polka dot paper.
TIP: Always stamp more than one image in one sitting, you never know when you might need it for a later card. Example:

Throwback Thursday challenge Entry & tip Tuesday
well two things in this post . A throwback challenge and tip Tuesday.
I finally got my entry for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge.
We had to make a Christmas themed project. It had to be a old cartridge.
I used Kraft paper as my base. Polka dot paper from AC Crafts for my layer. I cut out my cute reindeer from Paper Doll Dress up. I colored them with a copic and put pearls on their noses. I cut out the Sentiment from the cartridge Beyond Birthdays. I used jewels to bling it up. I think its really cute. hope everyone likes it.
Tip Tuesday:
When inking a large stamp and stamping it. Ink the stamp then leave the stamp face up and put the paper on top of it. Rub the paper to get a clean image stamped. It helps to do this for people who can't press really hard to stamp a image.

New CAS challenge card.
Happy Monday all.
I saw the challenge on CAS on splitcoast stampers early this morning. You had to do a sympathy card.
I had to do this challenge. I used the maple leaf from Hero Arts. I really like this stamp for different cards. I colored the leaves with the crayola markers i have at work. I really need to color with my copics. I did some faux stitching with a black glaze pen. The letters are from K and Company.
I also did a card for My pink Stamper's think pink week. She really inspired me to make this fun little card.
The layer was some pattern paper i got from my local stamp store. I also used some paper company pattern paper around the circle. The hedgehog is from Hampton Arts. I had to color her pink. The chipboard circles are from making memories. The sentiment is from MY Pink Stamper-Super Sweet Occasions.
I had time during my lunch today to do a really quick card for Fall.
I used Kraft card stock to use as my base. I distress a strip of orange card stock to go in the middle. I used a embossed scrap from my stash. I kept alot of Thomas Kincade photos from a calender that i had. The photos make really easy cards. Looks like a step into time , doesn't it?
Well thanks for hanging out with me today.

Happy Hello to you!
Hello all. Thanks for hanging around.
I have been trying to get my muse back. I have been reading alot of magazines and getting some ideas.
I just got a email today. I won The Simply Charmed Cart from My Pink Stampers live contest!
I love her blog and am thrilled that i won. I can't wait to use it.
I wanted to show the two cards i have done. I have others but i am going to submit them for the magazines.
Since Halloween is this weekend. i wanted to show you all this adorable card i made with stamps from Penny Black. I also used K and Company paper-halloween. I just didn't color the cat in. Couldn't decide on a color for him. I wanted to get another card ready for submitting to the magazine. I have gotten two published so far.
I am getting a jump on making winter/x-mas cards. Trying new layouts. This bear is so great for mens cards. i had to pair it up with christmas paper to get the pilots x-mas feel. I still have to take my time to color properly. all paper by dcwv. Love DCWV paper.
Thanks for viewing.

Tip Tuesday.
I decided that i will make Tuesday on my blog as A Tip that i learned that i will send along to you.
Today's Tip:
I learned this From My Creative Time: When stamping peachy keen stamp faces, make sure you color in the eyes with a white gel pen. It makes them stand out. I loved how these pumpkins turned out. I even cut them out by hand.
I also love doing faux stitching. I can't sew at all. I maybe mend a sock but that's it.
I have done a male card with faux stitching.
I decided to not do a Throwback Thursday challenge. I can't give it the time it takes right this minute. Next one defiantly.
Thanks for checking out the blog today

SC302 and My pink stamper challenge
Well i have been a bust little cardmaker today at work. Mostly i do cards on my break and lunch period so i can relieve stress. Plus my co-workers like to see what i come up with.
I did this for Splitcoast Stampers scetch challenge 302. I used paper by the paper company, basic grey and georgia pacific. I love fluffles. and this stamp is great for birthdays. Colored with copics. I also used a cuttlebug folder to emboss the strip. i even handtied a bow.
This is for the challenge 302 and My pink stamper challenge to make something cute. Paper used: paper company, and georgia pacific. Fluffles again, colored with copics. wanted to so the birthday hat as a embellishment. I think this is cute birthday card.
So what do you think?

Happy Columbus Day!
Well, its been another Columbus day here and gone. I did have to work. (it keeps me in my hobbies). :)
I have done a couple of more cards at work.
This card i did for the CAS88 Challenge on splitcoast stampers. I used recollections paper, Stampendous stamps(short stacks), and Memento ink. The challenge was to do a crinkle. I don't have the super gadget to crinkle my paper, so i had to do it by hand. The images were colored with prismacolor pencils.I like distressing edges.
This is a quick and simple card with no stamping. I used bazzill paper for the base. the ladybug paper is by Heidi Grace. the epoxy sticker is also by Heidi grace. Can't you tell i hand did the bow.(i really have to work on that.)
I am still trying my hand at this blog, so it will be learning as i go.
Take care my friends
