Seize the cupcake

Hello all. Sorry i haven't been on. Trying to find a new vehicle. MY poor car has 230,000 miles on it.
I was lucky , i found a jeep with 4 wheel drive. I need it with the Upstate NY winters,

I did get a card done. I used a corner rounder on this card. All cardstock is by The Paper Company. Pattern paper is by DCWV. Cupcakes are stickers from K & Company. Stamped sentiment is by Hero Arts.
Yellow ribbon. is from my stash.  I used a white gel pen for the faux stitching.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July all.
I just wanted to post and let everyone that i am fine. and card making has resumed.
I just have to get my camera to give up its pictures.

i took this with my cell phone while i was at work. All supplies are from K & Company except the white cards stock. which is georgia pacific. I edged all paper panels with black ink.
I hope eveyone has made cards for the troops and or at least thought about the troops today.

Hello all. My camera is acting funny so i can't show you any new cards except one. This card i had downloaded already.I am hoping to get some cards done for the troops. Since its so hot today, i'm going to color some images in the air-conditioning.

This cardstock is from K & Company. I love how simple this card is. Everything is by K & Company. What do you think?

Memorial Day and American cards

Hello all. What are you doing for Memorial Day?

I am going to do Little shopping on Saturday. Maybe so type of crafty purchases :)
Sunday is grocery shopping day. But most of my holiday weekend will be making cards for
Operation Write Home & Send Love today. I love these two charities. I just have to remember to not use glitter for the OWH cards. The SLT cards are for the kids. Will you make cards for the troops? Its a great way to remember the troops that serve this country.

Peachy Keen Challenge #52

Hi I finally did a card for the Peachy Keen challenges. I saw the sketch and finally saw my card in this layout

I love how this card came out. I wish the faces were darker though :)

Pattern paper by K & Company's new American paper. I also got the matching star stickers for the side of the card. I used organzy ribbon from Offray to do the middle strip. I used felt stars from Spare Parts-Paper company. I stamped Basic Paper dolls faces onto the felt stars. I had to do a senitment. This card was screaming for a cute saying. Sentiment is from Stampedous.   What do you think? Its just a Happy hello LOL.
This card made a A2 sized card.

Looking forward to the holiday weekend. I plan on making some cards for Operation Write Home. Will you be working on cards for this cause too?

Happy Friday

Happy Friday everyone. Boy thank goodness its Friday. Its been a long week. Its so nice to come out of work and not have it raining. I made this card in favor of this.

Mousey Birthday card

Hello all. Thanks for looking at my blog. I did some more walking. Boy does it feel good to be able to do it.
I also did my model horse show on Saturday. I did well. Mostly i had fun seeing my friends i haven't seen since March. I relized that i love both my hobbies, since i have met some wonderful people. I am so lucky that i can call them friends.

I did this card since i need to build up my stash of birthday cards.  This stamp is from Whipper Snapper. They make the cutest animal stamps. The pattern paper is from DCWV- dots stripes and plaid mat stack.
I used scissors for the edge around the image. the dots in the corners are stickers from Stampendous. I colored the image with my prisma colored pencils.

I am doing a good job? I would love to hear from you. When i get alittle better at this , i will be doing challenges for some prizes. I hope it will be soon.
