Chilling and commissions

Hello all. I hope your holiday season is progressing pretty well.
I have been trying to do christmas shopping, Its alittle hard when i don't know what to buy.

I have been a small number of cards. I gave this one to my hairdresser when she gave me my cut. pattern paper by DCWV, The stamp set is from MFT- Baby its cold outside. I love doing paper piecing. My hairdresser thought it was pretty nice that i gave a handmade card.

I was asked before the weekend by one of my co-workers to make a card for him. I said sure, what kind? He said he wanted romantic birthday. It had to have the color blue with white. I think i did quite well with this one. I love the stickers from K & Company. these matched well with the color theme. i got to use my nesties for the mats for the flowers.  i used a glossy accents in white for the embellishment on the foil mat.   Well to make more cards. thanks for hanging with me.

I wanted to say Thank you to Mary @ Cardztv today. She showed the cards i sent for her coffee and cards episode. I am so glad you liked them Mary!!! I hope you all liked them too. I have offically started my christmas shopping. I got my mother one present and my nephew one. I still have more presents to buy.

here is a card i did last year at this time. I love using snowmen and flowers together. the colors mix so well. i have to get this stamp out to do more cards for winter.

I am thinking about have a contest. to see how many comments i can get , i love to hear about your thoughts on my cards. would you be interested? I have a couple of sets that i can use as prizes. Please let me know your thoughts.

hello all. i did this card today. i will probably send it to my welcome rak person from splitcoast stampers. i love house mouse images. this was a sticker from a package i got from my local stamp store. they have the most fun stuff around. the papers are from basic grey , dcwv, and k & company. the metal dots i got from joanns.

Happy Hello November

Hello all. Its been awhile. With holidays coming, there is alot of things to do.

My card making has been doing well. I get to make a card a day. With doing cardmaking at work during break and lunch, it helps me to relax and be calm.

I have to get some cards to get ready to submit to magazine. I also promised myself to do more challenges.  What are the most needed cards?  Birthday, miss you, thanks???

i used cardstock from the paper company. the 4 x 5 1/4 mat is from basic grey. the green paper strip is from my minds eye. The stamp is from Whipper snapper, the sentiment is from hero arts. the silver dots  are from jo anns. i colored the mouse with copic markers.

Hopefully i will start my christmas card making soon.

Mummy card

Hello all. I case a Mummy card from the halloween edition of Papercrafts magazine. It was made from ribbon.
I didn't have any of this ribbon so i used beige cardstock for the mummy's bandages.
I think it came out so neat.

I used cardstock from recollections and the paper company. for the eyes i used my fiskars circle punch and cut them in half. The sentiment is from stickers from K and Company. I love halloween. Can't wait to see the neat cards and costumes from the kids.

Monkeys and baby cards

Hello all
i have been doing cards at work during break. i have been trying to branch out with my cards.

i had the pattern paper at work. I wanted to match colors in what i had on my desk. The stamps from Hampton Arts. I did paper piecing for the mommy to be.. i stamped and cut out the pacifiers. I love to do faux stitching on my cards. I don't have a real sewing machine.  This card is a A2 size.

I just got this sock monkey stamp from Hobby Lobby during their stampabilites sale. I just love em. I had to do one in a non traditional color. I wanted to do a yellow and black card. The pattern paper is K & company sticker mat pack. i stamped the sentiment because the monkey makes me smile.

Can't believe its September already. What happened to the summer? Ready for the apple picking time.

My Creative time Throwback Thursday Challenge

Hello all. i finally got my card done for the throwback Thursday challenge. Its a cricut-less challenge. That means no working with the cricut. You also had to use the colors: purple, green, orange and black.

i didn't even stamp on this card. the card stock is the paper company. The swirled purple layer is from K & company. The pattern paper is from DCWV ghosts & goblins mat stack. This card measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 .
the boo is cut from the pattern paper that had the words page. So it has all the required colors.
