Update July 2016

Wow I can't believe that it's the middle of the year already. I have crafting a little bit. I got a kindle so I can get on the net, I have been taking some pics of cards with my phone.  I learned to use my stash. When only working a part-time job, so I can get medical help, you use what you have. I am still here. Hopefully I can post pictures soon..thanks for reading.

2015 the year of the cards.

Well I am so sorry that my blog was taken to the wayside. With losing the longtime job and trying to find a new one. My card making went to the back seat, and earning money was the goal.
The winter of 2014, had me getting published again in the issue of Just cards. It was a changito monkey Halloween card. It seems to me I can do Halloween cards alright.
Hoping that the mojo kicks in. With all the new stamp companies out there, the cards should just come to me.
I hope all will join me in stamping and hanging out.

Birthday, fall and published

Hello all, its been awhile. It seems March has been roaring in. I can't believe its almost April. Well my birthday was on the 11th. Another year older, surprisingly i don't feel a year older. I got some nice cards and some money.  I hoping to do some model horse showing next month. I get to do some judging and hanging out with some friends.

I was helping to do some cleaning yesterday and i had a oh no moment. I just finished putting something in my Jeep. I was bringing in the mail, i fell in the driveway. Me being stupid and not having my boots on. Walking around with my sneakers on. My right foot slipped out from under me and the left locked up and tried to dislocate. At that moment i just decided not to try to save myself. I went down in the snow. i laid there for a second or two seeing if i was hurt. Nope just my pride! i laid on my back wondering how was i getting up. With my knees its not easy. Actually i got on my knees to lever myself up. The snow was okay on my knees. So when i went inside i told people, i didn't fall i made snow angels!!!!

I was alittle sore later but am fine now.

I Got a nice surprise in the mail today. I just got back from getting my nephew's Easter present. And checked the mail.  I got Published again. I am so happy. I did another card that was good enough to print.

Its Called Spooktacular. I used K & Company paper and Heidi grace rub-ons. Its super cute. Its a nice Halloween card. Its in the newest issue of Just Cards.  i have to do some more soon.

Almost March

Well it seems time flies, Since i posted last. OMG it goes so fast.

I have been looking for work, i still dont know what i want to do.

I was cleaning my room since it looks like a tornado hit it, its that messy.
I relized how much stamping and card items i had.

I took fairly big tote and purged my stash. There is all sorts of things i decided that didnt need any more. Cardstock, pattern paper, odds and ends.

I am donating it all to the local VA center. i fiquire all the Vets would use it for crafts.

i did card when i had some time. The image and sentiment is from Cat's Pajamas. Its from the set Oh Chute. I colored this with copics and i paper pieced the parachute.
I wanted this to be a bright card.

Loving Winter......NOT!!

Hello all. Sorry i have been absent in blogging. i have been busy doing things with my nephew, looking for work and watching it snow.

Today we got snow. From 3 am until now, i would say 30 inches. Yay i said right. 30 INCHES! it was snowing it so hard we couldnt see 2 feet in front of you.  i had to clean off my Jeep three times. we finally got plowed out at five o'clock.

i was playing with the camera that i got for christmas. i am getting some great shots. it stopped for a half an hour so i got some snow on the trees and back rails of the deck.

i love how technology has done with cameras. i love getting some snow shots.

so i am so ready for spring to come. But alas i am in the lake snow belt so i still have a ways to go with the season.

I would love to go to a nice sunny warm spot, will someone let me stay with them????
just kidding. thanks for listening me vent.

Happy New Year And News

Hello Everyone. Happy New Year. I know i am late in posting. With the holidays and everything in my life.
I got some distressing news in November. I was laid off from my job of 12 yrs on Novermber 29. Happy holidays to me. Lets just say it was a shock. Never thought i would be let go. But you never know. So have been doing abit of job hunting. I just dont know what kind of work i want to do. With my RA its going to be fun looking for something i can do. Right now its going pretty good with my meds and pain.

With all this, my mojo for making cards went with this worry to find a job. I am getting some good ideas. i just need to get them down on paper. I think this weekend i will start doing some marathon stamping so i can color images will watching tv.

But have so many supportive people in my life is my greatest gift this holiday season and the new year. I have some good feelings for this year. Hoping that it will be better.

Happy Holidays

Hello. long time no hear. Sorry i haven't been creative lately. I have been looking for work. I got let go from my job after 12 yrs. It was quite a shock. So i was upset so making any cards was not a option. I am starting to get mojo back.  Still looking for work.
And with the holidays its harder. At least i get to be with friends and family.
